Au4 Newsletter
Issue #3
March 23, 2006

The Au4 "On: Audio" CDs have arrived! We are in full shipping mode here at Torn Open Records, and we thank everyone that purchased in advance for being so patient. With the arrival of the discs, the Au4 Store (www.au4-audio.com/shop) will now be selling "On: Audio" at its regular price of $15.00 CDN (plus shipping & handling) as it will be available in local and other online stores (details of locations and URLs to be posted on the site shortly). For those of you who missed the 33% discount and would like to sample the music before purchase, the members of Au4 have requested that the album, in its entirety, remain available for free in streaming format via the "...listen..." link on their website.

Keep your eyes peeled to the Au4 Store as we have some new merchandise coming soon! The talented Emily Costa of R.I.V.I.T.I.D. has designed some custom embossed belts and cuffs; full product details and images will be available shortly in the Au4 Store. Also, Au4 T-shirts are in the making - we'll have the details by next newsletter.

The Au4 Store will also be presenting Trek-e's remix of "Hit and Miss" on vinyl and mp3 purchase within the next few weeks and we are excited that Pete Tong's A&R crew are interested in the brand new Paranoid Jack remix of "Everything Always Moving" for the Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1!

The "...press..." section of the Au4 site has a new addition: music columnist Sean Boulger of the Long Beach, California newspaper Union Weekly gave "On: Audio" a glowing review, though Au4's bassist was somehow omitted from the article! For those who had a chance to read it, don't worry, Jason Nickel is very much a part of Au4!!

Scheduling is underway for a prime slot for Au4 to perform at 15th Annual New Music West, which is the largest music industry gathering on the west coast (April 26 - 30, 2006). The rough forecast for the completion of the website upgrade (by Vincent Marcone of MyPetSkeleton and DigiCoyote Software) is for the end of April and Au4's official CD release party should be near the end of May.

Au4 welcomes stylist Shelley Hilliard to the team. These guys are going to look good!

Once again, Au4 thanks everyone for their messages of continual support on the Au4 MySpace (www.myspace.com/au4) and they look forward to seeing you at the end of April!
