Au4 - Official Website

We are excited about the fantastic lineup that has come together for this show! The first band, Phontaine, will kick of the show with a blend of funky breaks and acoustic instruments - to produce a warm, smooth, electronic sound that is nostalgic, fresh and down-tempo. Following Phontaine will be Sinewave: trippy, progressive space lounge, with melodic songwriting sophistication. After Sinewave comes the beautiful sounds of Genika - moving the evening into a mood that is ethereal and haunting, emotional and optimistic, yet dark and cathartic; a perfect transition for Au4 to step in right after. The night will round out with James 'Trek-e' Smith with a 'sure to be fantastic' DJ set. Be sure to make it to Sonar by 8:30 pm - as these are sets that you won't want to miss!

Tickets will be sold at the door, but we recommend that you purchase tickets at the Au4 Store until midnight tonight, as each band has been pre-selling tickets and Au4 wants to make sure that all their fans have the chance to be at this exciting event. This CD Release Party promises deliver a live show of greater magnitude than Au4's last - with refined visuals and new stage décor provided by En4. Drummer/brother Nathan Wylie has finally returned from a two-month tour - glad to have him back for his first show with Au4! A special thanks goes out to Scary Lady Sarah of American Gothic Productions for orchestrating an "On: Audio" CD release in Chicago, Illinois on July 1st, as there were a multitude of CD giveaways at the official Nine Inch Nails (NIN)/ Bauhaus / Peaches after party. The website of Portuguese freelance photographer José Moreira has been playing "Hit and Miss" for the past two months and has been generating a significant amount of traffic to the Au4 website. Thanks for putting Au4 up as the soundtrack!

A longboarding skate company based of Calgary, Alberta, Ground Control Longboards, has complimented their Flash animation promo with a sample from "Paper Cuts from Paper Butterflies". Click the <Play> button in the banner of their website to enable this feature.

An expansive Au4 library with song samples, photographs, reviews and event listings has recently been posted at Audiri.com. Latin for "be heard", Audiri is a website dedicated to serving music seekers throughout the world through use of the latest technologies and free open source software.

The Italian webzine Rock Line Italia has "On: Audio" listed as their album of the month. We'd like to mention more about them, but no one at Torn Open speaks Italian!
